In Spring of 2019 we applied for and were granted a permit from the Illinois Department of Agriculture to grow Hemp. In 2020 our hemp was granted USDA Certified Organic status and this was used to isolate the highly medicinal Cannabidiol, or more commonly CBD. We believe in this medicine, but like all our products, didn’t quite trust in the way it is being mass produced for global markets.

So, as my son said to me one summer night in the field, “So, you mean we grow our own medicine now too? Cool.” We put the same care and energy into growing our medicine as we do all our products.
